Inspector comments: EHS and PIC discussed adding data loggers/continuous monitoring devices to walk in cooler and walk in freezers. Facility has extremely large coolers/freezers with lots of food items present and this would strengthen their food safety management system as well as reduce the burden on the manager for close monitoring of cooler air temperatures. EHS advised there are a variety of different options but through discussion PIC indicated that one able to be remotely checked may work best for her use case.
