Location and Hours of Operation were provided by establishment instagram account.
Note: EHS observed one (1) unopened commercial package of pre-pattied turkey burgers. Per conversation with PIC, these were held over from a previous event. EHS and PIC discussed limitations of pushcart menus based on permit restrictions:
Pushcart is only to sell hot dogs, cased meats such as sausages, TCS toppings such as coleslaw and chili held under temperature control, non TCS toppings such as uncooked peppers and onions, and pre portioned and time stamped TCS food portions. All other foods must be sold as commercial packaged (I.E. chips and bottled drinks.)

Inspector comments: Recent social media posts have shown pushcart selling items not permitted on a pushcart (fried fish). EHS heard customer ask for a burger upon arrival, and PIC stated burgers were a seasonal item. EHS discussed pushcart permit with PIC. Pushcart is only permitted to prepare commercially packaged, fully cooked encased meats such as hotdogs and sausages on site. Any other food must be prepared and packaged at the commissary prior to arrival on site. Pushcart’s commissary does not currently have approved cooking equipment, so this limits what the pushcart is able to sell pre-packaged at the commissary. Continued noncompliance with selling unapproved items from pushcart will result in permit action. No items observed on site today that are not permitted.
Inspection completed at 5018 Sunset Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269. Pushcart operates at this location M-F from 11AM-2/3PM.
