15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed missing shower heads in Cabins 8 and 6.

15A NCAC 18A .1826(i) The premises and guest rooms shall be maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to eliminate their presence on the premises and eliminating harborage conditions. Observed mice droppings under kitchen sink in Cabin 8. Observed holes in wall panels in Cabins 6, 5, 1, 9, and 11. Seal holes to prevent pest harborage.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (i) Maintain premises free of insects, rodents, and other pests. Observed apparent mice droppings in Cabin 14 under kitchen sink and in back corner of master bedroom. Observed apparent tunnels from wood-boring insect in Cabin 7 on back left wall panel behind kitchen sink.

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (a) Clean bed and bath linen, in good repair, should be provided for each guest. Observed stain on bed linen in Cabin 9.

15A NCAC 18A .1826(i) The premises and guest rooms shall be maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to eliminate their presence on the premises and eliminating harborage conditions. Holes in wall panels observed in Cabin 4, 7, 9, 14. Observed gap behind electrical wall panel in Cabin 9. Seal knot holes in wall panels and gaps behind electrical wall panels to prevent pest harborage.

REPEAT 15A NCAC 18A .1824(b) Equipment and utensils shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed rusted shelving and damaged freezer wall/base in GWL. Need repair or replace and keep in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed damaged sofa couches in GWL. Repair needed. PIC stated that item will be fixed before next guests check in.

Observed rust on refrigerator door, on racks inside refrigerator and /or freezer, and on sides of refrigerator in cabins C2 and C7. 15A NCAC 18A .1824(b) Equipment and utensils shall be kept clean and in good repair.

Replace missing shower head in cabin C2. 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed Air returns in need of cleaning due to minimal build up of dust and debris.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (i) Maintain premises free of insects, rodents, and other pests. Observed mouse droppings in cabins 9 and 12 .

4-202.16 Non food contact surfaces shall be free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance. Observed cracked freezer racks and ledges of freezer in small cabin C8 and large cabin L16.

Observed buildup on shower head in cabin 12. 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (c) Sinks, vanities, toilets, and showers in guest rooms shall be cleaned and sanitized between guests. Observed stained shower curtain in cabin 12. 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair.

-Observed the inside of the coffee makers with residue and buildup. Clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1824(l) Equipment for preparing coffee and tea shall be kept clean, but is exempt from sanitization. -Observed no sanitizer onsite for food contact surfaces (examples refrigerator, microwaves, utensils, etc). *Sanitizer Make-up handout emailed. If facility chooses to use bleach and water, provide Chlorine test strips. If a Quat sanitizer is provided, ensure to use according to the manufacturer's instructions. 15A NCAC 18A .1824(f) Sanitizers used for sanitization of kitchenware and food-contact surfaces shall be maintained as required in Part 4-5 of the Food Code as amended by Rule 15A NCAC 18A .2564.

Repeat: Observed boxes of toilet tissue stored on the floor and piled up high making it hard to move and clean. Store items according to the rule below and to help facilitate cleaning. Clean linen and supplies shall be stored in cabinets, or on shelves in linen and supply storage rooms. 15A NCAC 18A .1813 (b).

No Points Deducted: Observed window blinds in disrepair in C13. Replace. 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (e) Where only natural ventilation is provided, outside openings shall be screened and in good repair.

Observed the water at 131F in cabins 1 and 14. Hot water in guest rooms shall be provided at a temperature of no less than 116°F (46.7°C) and no more than 128°F (53.3°C). 15A NCAC 18A .1810 (e). (NO POINTS DEDUCTED): -33. Observed lids missing on both green dumpsters and one missing a drain plug. All garbage and trash shall be collected and stored in covered containers in such a manner as not to create a nuisance. 15A NCAC 18A .1814 (a).
