There is now a handsink in the laundry room and each housekeeping cart inspected during time of inspection had handsoap for workers to be able to wash hands after removing soiled linen from room.

Observed sanitizer on housekeeping carts throughout facility to be too low (50-100ppm Quat). Through discussion discovered that contact time of sanitizer was less than manufacture guidelines. Label specifications for the sanitizer in use is 150-400ppm concentration.

Hotel is currently under renovations. Most of ground floor, second floor, and floors 3-6 are not guest accessible. At this time Battery Powered CO detectors are installed in the Temporary Lobby, Carolina Ball Room, and House Laundry Room. Once all renovations are complete Hard Wired With Battery Back Up CO detectors will be required in the following areas: House Laundry, Lobby (near staircase), Dining Room, and Carolina Ball Room.
