Observed minor wall damage in the storage closets during inspection. Spoke with Henry about potentially putting up some sort of railing to prevent carts from hitting the walls. **15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1824(e ) Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be clean. Observed pink mold on exterior of ice shoots on 3rd and 4th floors. GM will have someone clean units soon.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed large stain on sofa bed mattress in rm. 220. REPEAT (half points due to improvements).

Observed dirty toilet in room 129, hair on toilet in room 333, hair in the shower in room 312 and 330. CDI-The rooms were cleaned. 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed a ripped lining of the couch in room 129. Have repaired.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (i) Maintain premises free of insects, rodents, and other pests. Observed dead insects in the bathroom of room 129. This was corrected and the insects were removed from the floor. The manager explained that they were coming in due to the rains.

15A NCAC 18A .1828( c) Clean linen and supplies shall be stored in cabinets, or on shelves in linen and supply storage rooms. Observed linens/supplies stored on the ground. Have placed onto shelving. REPEAT. *Points kept the same today.

Observed supplies/linens stored on floor in storage rooms. 15A NCAC 18A .1828 (e ) Carts used for soiled laundry shall be labeled or identified for soiled laundry use only. Observed laundry bins not labeled

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items. Observed opened personal drink and a spray bottle of cleaner stored with clean linen on housekeeping carts. Body wash stored with tea bags on a housekeeping cart.
