General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. *** Observed stained sofa in 413, 326. Observed hairs on sofa, and stained sofa mattress in 326. Detail cleaning needed. Keep clean.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. *** Observed stained ceiling tiles in the hallway on 3 rd floor and in guest laundry room. Repairs leaks and repair the ceiling tiles.

15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to aoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles. *** Observed clean supply boxes (linens, coffee cups, paper products, ..) stored on the floor in storage rooms throughout. Ensure to keep/store all supplies off the floor at least 6 inches at anytime .

15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Observed no paper towels or soap at hand sink in laundry room. Keep sink stocked with soap and paper towels.

Observed in 428 strands of black hair and yellow rice on top of pull out sofa. Observed in room 421 a black hair band under bed. Observed in room 414 debris on pull out sofa. Observed in room 305 dirty sofa cushion with black round stains.

Observed several random boxes on the floor in storage room on the 4th floor.

Observed boxes of cups, plates, tissue and other items stored directly on the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items. Observed vacuum attachments stored on top of clean towels. Keep dirty items from contaminating clean items

15A NCAC 18A .1825( e) All refuse shall be collected and stored in covered receptacles. Refuse receptacles shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed door to dumpster open. Keep closed. Construction debris piled up in corral needs to be discarded.

15A NCAC 18A .1827( c) Household cleaning agents such as bleaches, detergents, and polishes shall be used and stored according to manufacturer's recommendations. Observed unlabeled spray bottles. All chemicals not in original containers must be labeled.
