Observed ceiling peeling near the check-in window. **15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.

Observed burn hole in the mattress cover in room 127. **15A NCAC 18A .1828 (a) Clean bed and bath linen, in good repair, should be provided for each guest.

15A NCAC 18A .1824 (b) Equipment and utensils shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed build up in ice machine dispensing spout. Observed ice build up in freezers in multiple rooms. Needs cleaning.

Observed shower plate around knob loose and shower curtain ripped in room 218. Observed toilet in need of new caulking at base in 234. Observed cracks on toilet seat in 205. Observed tub peeling/no longer smooth in room 220. Observed bathroom door separating in room 218. Needs repair. REPEAT.

5-501.115 A storage area and enclosure for refuse, recyclables, or returnables shall be maintained free of unnecessary items and clean. Observed mattress and debris in dumpster enclosure. Needs removal. 5-501.15 Maintain refuse, recyclables, and returnables receptacles with tight-fitting lids, doors, or covers. Observed door open on dumpster. Needs to be kept closed.

15ANCAC 18A. 1824(k) A test kit or other device that measures the concentration in mg/L of sanitizing solutions shall be provided by the lodging establishment. Observed facility does not have test kit for measuring sanitizer concentration.

5-205.15 Maintain a plumbing system in good repair. Observed pipe in ceiling leaking in laundry room. Needs repair. Observed shower leaking in room 127. Observed outside hose bib leaking next to electrical room. Needs repair.

(Facility has improved walkway ceilings since permitting and are working on outside damage during inspection. )

15A NCAC 18A .1827( c) Household cleaning agents such as bleaches, detergents, and polishes shall be used and stored according to manufacturer's recommendations. Observed chemicals in spray bottles on house keeping cart with no labels indicating what chemicals are. Needs labels.
