15A NCAC 18A .1827(d) Sanitizing solutions shall not be stored in or dispensed from containers previously containing other poisonous or toxic materials. Observed spray bottles with chemicals mislabeled as quat sanitizer. Chemicals did not register on quat test strips and smelled like a deodorizer. Housekeepers did not know what the chemical was. Quat labeled spray bottles must be used for quat sanitizer solution.
