General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items.- Observed housekeeping cart need to be arranged in manner that clean supplies and dirty/chemical stay clearly separate and in right order from each other (clean on top, dirty at the bottom, or clearly separate side by side). And not allow any possible cross contamination at anytime.

15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to avoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles.- Observed clean linen supplies and clean supply boxes stored on the floor in closet 2nd floor. Ensure to keep/store all clean supplies off the floor at least 6 inches at anytime.

15ANCAC 18A. 1824(k) A test kit or other device that measures the concentration in mg/L of sanitizing solutions shall be provided by the lodging establishment. Provide correct test strip for sanitizer.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (g) Perimeter walls and roofs shall protect the lodging establishment from the weather, and the entry of insects, rodents, and other pests. Observed partial sweep under door to room 329. Provide full sweep, should not be able to see daylight from under the door.
