15A NCAC 18A .1824(b) Equipment and utensils shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed disrepair ice machine and live ants in the basin 1st floor. Observed soiled microwave and mini fridge in room 123, soiled mini fridge in 303. Repairing/cleaning needed.

General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed soiled looking/mildew on shower tub tiles in room 507, 427, 317, 303, 222, 210, 113. Observed very dim light in bathroom 317. Observed damaged bed side border in 405. New caulking, repairing, replacing of new light needed. Keep all fixtures in good repair and clean.

General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items.- Observed cleaning carts need to keep clean supplies on clean side, dirty and chemicals on the opposite side of the cart. Not allow cross contamination and touching at anytime.

15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to avoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles.- Observed boxes of clean supplies (water, cans good, glassware, linens, etc..) stored directly on the floor closet throughout the facility. Keep/store all supplies above the floor at least 6 inches at anytime.
