5-205.11 A handwashing sink shall be accessible and only used for handwashing. -Pf Observed handsink in laundry room is being used to fill mop buckets. 15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Observed no soap and paper towels at laundry room handsink. Needs soap and paper towels. REPEAT.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed the outside steps are cracking/damaged. Facility is currently in the process of remodeling and construction has caused some damage to the stairs. The stair wells are on the list of items to be renovated. No points deducted due to improvements and facility working on remodel.

General Comment: 5-501.15 Maintain refuse, recyclables, and returnables receptacles with tight-fitting lids, doors, or covers. Observed the dumpster lid open. Needs to be closed.

4-701.10* Equipment food contact surfaces and utensils shall be sanitized. Observed build up in ice machine. Needs cleaning

15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Observed no paper towels at laundry room handsink. Needs paper towel. One hose needs removal to be able to use handsink.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed carpet damaged in 222 and 314. Observed shower floor with rust/build up in 222. Observed shower dripping and toilet constantly running in 233. Observed laminate peeling on tv stand/dresser in 314. Observed pink build up on shower head in 112 and 107. Needs cleaning/repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed some small ceiling/wall peeling in 328 and hall storage area. The facility is planning to do a remodel including repairs and all new furniture/carpets etc over the next few months.
