General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .1824(b) Equipment and utensils shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed disrepair ice machine on 3rd floor in need of repair or remove. Observed soiled/stained microwave in room 221, 204, 423. Better cleaning needed and keep all equipment in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed dust and debris underneath beds in room 316. Observed candy wrappers on the floor in room 204, 423. Observed new caulking needed around hand sink and tub in 316. Observed stained mattress in room 414, and minor stained on sofa bed mattress in room 408. Detail cleaning needed and keep clean.

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items.- Observed housekeeping carts must keep clean, dirty, and chemical supplies separated.Keep them clearly apart at all times to prevent cross-contamination.

General Comment:
5-501.110 Refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be stored in receptacles so that they are inaccessible to insects and rodents.- Observed collection of leaves and an old mattress in the dumpster area. The area needs to be cleaned and kept clear.
