Inspector comments: Observed middle grab n go unit with raw meat product holding above 45F. PIC stated items were not packaged at facility. EHS deferred to Department of Ag and in store policies as MCHD does not have jurisdiction on those products. Ensure all cold holding units are working properly. Only items that are wrapped and packaged at meat market are: beef steaks and ground beef. All other raw products (chicken, pork, cut stew beef, etc.) are prepared and packaged at the Food Lion Warehouse. This is for all Food Lions. Some Food Lions will prep raw animal meat with vegetables.
