Hot water shall be provided at temperatures between 105F and 116F at handwashing and bathing facilities.- Observed hot water temperature measured at the kitchen sink 138F. And bathroom upstairs at 121F. Provides tempered water between 105F- 116F at anytime.

15A NCAC 18A .1621 (d) The residential care facility shall have personal protective equipment on-site for employees to use and a written procedure for employees to follow when responding to vomitus or fecal matter on facility surfaces. The procedure shall specify the actions that should be taken to minimize the exposure to vomitus or fecal matter. - New rule- Observed the facility without vomiting and diarrhea written plan. EHS provided the poster and the facility will gather all supplies needed and have available for such an event.
