- Observed carpet in one of the bedroom needs cleaning. Keep clean.

General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .1609 (b) Ventilation equipment shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed AC ceiling vents throughout need cleaning. Keep clean.

15A NCAC 18A .1610 (a) Residential care facilities shall provide toilet, handwashing, and bathing facilities that are available for use by residents and employees that are kept clean and in good repair.- Observed disrepair faucet at kitchen sink needs repair. Observed stained toilet seat in bathroom downstairs need cleaning or replacing. Observed bathtub in bathroom upstairs need cleaning. Keep clean and good repair.

General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .1621 (d) The residential care facility shall have personal protective equipment on-site for employees to use and a written procedure for employees to follow when responding to vomitus or fecal matter on facility surfaces. The procedure shall specify the actions that should be taken to minimize the exposure to vomitus or fecal matter.- Observed the facility without vomiting and diarrhea written plan. EHS provided the poster at the time of inspection. The facility shall gather all supplies needed and attach a written plan. Have them available for such an event.
