Drinking fountains shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2406 (b).- Observed water fountains in some part of building needs better cleaning all around the neck of faucets and drains. Keep clean. Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b).- Observed water fountains need pressure adjustment to allow proper pressure. (2 fountains in front of multi purpose room, 2 fountains in the lower B hall, and 1 fountain in the upper 200 hall).

Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b).- Observed disrepair faucet in restrooms B and C hall needs repair. Observed several hand sinks in B hall and C hall needs detail cleaning and keep clean.

REPEAT Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b).- Observed hand dryer is not working in (boy restroom 2nd floor 3/5 & 6/7 wing) Broken soap dispenser in boy restroom 6/7 wing. All disrepair items need to be fixed and keep in good repair. Observed hand sinks throughout the school building need details cleaning and keep clean. Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c).- Observed no soap available in a dispenser at hand washing sink in boy restroom B wing, girl and boy restroom 3/5 wing, and girl restroom 8 hall way restroom. Ensure to provide all hand washing supplies at all hand sinks at all time.

Observed hand dryer is not working in (boy restroom near the gym locker room, boy restroom in 3/4/5 grade hallway) All disrepair hand washing fixtures at the sinks need repair and keep in good repair for proper hand washing. Observed hand sinks throughout the building need details cleaning and keep clean. Observed one of the stall, the door in boy restroom near gym locker room is broken and need repair. Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c).- Observed no soap available at the hand washing sink in restroom near the stair between kindergarten and 1st grade hallway. Observed hand dryer is not working in (boy restroom near the gym locker room, boy restroom in 3/4/5 grade hallway). Provide all hand washing supplies at all hand sinks at all time.

All storage shall be at least 15 inches above the floor or otherwise arranged so as to permit thorough cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .2411. Observed boxes of supplies/storage on the floor in main office storage room.

Adequate facilities for storage of clothes and other personal items shall be provided and kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2413 (e). Observed general organizing needed to equipment room located in main gym.

Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed classrooms with cleaners and chemicals left accessible. CDI all hazardous items properly stored per manufactures specs.
