#11. Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed aerosol disinfectant Lysols and cleaners stored on floor in unlocked teacher work room located on K2 hallway. EHS advises school to store toxic materials according to manufacturers guidance that states “keep out of reach of children”.

Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed 1 minor stained ceiling tile near entrance/exit doors leading to K-2 classrooms. EHS advises school to ensure no active leak is occurring and to have stained ceiling tile replaced.

Tightly secure loose edge of wall paper in boys and girls bathroom on first and second floor in Life Center. Wipe/clean wall in classrooms in CDC building and touch-up paint.
