Hazardous items must be properly stored and kept behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .3320 (b).
Medications not under the control of a participant shall be stored in a separate locked cabinet or other locked container. 15A NCAC 18A .3320 (d).
- Observed liquid wipeout container on a desk, not keeping locked. Observed medication cart is lock but the drawers are not completely shut tight. Ensure to keep all hazardous items in a lock cabinet or storage. Repair the lock for the medication cart.
