Inspector comments: CPO AGREED TO EMAIL OF INSPECTION REPORT.
POOL IS CLOSED TO SWIMMING DUE TO RULES VIOLATION, ITEM NUMBER 22.
#22 · Premises: emergency telephone provided −6
.2530(f) Emergency phone shall remain operable.
Emergency phone was found not to have audible ring on the call-back. A problem with low volume on the call-back ring/no sound on the call-back ring was noted on the previous inspection report as a General Comment dated 7/6/2021. It was recommended in that report by C. Elmore, the assigned Health Inspector, that the ringer be corrected to ensure the call-back ring could be heard over any ambient noise. Today there was not a call-back ring sound that was detectible by C. Elmore or CPO T. Bumgarner. This is a closure item as call-back capability from emergency services is needed. That is why a call back number is required to be assigned to the phone itself as call-back functionality is considered to be part of the proper operability of the emergency phone. Pool is closed by order of the Health Department for rules violation. The pool cannot be reopened until the phone call back ringer is properly corrected such that it can be heard over the typical ambient noise of the pool in use, and C. Elmore has verified the correction. Contact information for C. Elmore is 704-507-6814. Contact C. Elmore when correction is made.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE RINGER BE CORRECTED SUCH THAT IT HAS A RING SOUND OF TYPICAL TYPE AND VOLUME. THIS ISSUE DOES NOT RISE TO THE LEVEL OF A VIOLATION.
