.2522(b) Provide at least 5 ft of clear walking space around the indoor pool at all times. Operator moved items and corrected. Items used for in-use classes that can be moved in case of emergency are permitted. Items may not be stored around pool when not in use.

Inspector comments: Be aware that chlorine cannot be put directly into pool for normal operation. For normal operation, disinfectant must enter the pool through the disinfectant feeder system, not by hand feeding. Disinfectants, such as chlorine, are allowed to be introduced into the pool by hand feeding for dealing with things like fecal, blood, or vomit incidents, and for maintenance purposes with the pool is not operational.

Observed no violations in the pool, however the interior doors leading to the pool deck are not self-latching. They are self-closing. As per Katie Wilson (704-309-5494+704-336-5306) of MCPH. These doors must either be self-closing and self-latching or they must have an audible alarm indicating that the door has been opened. I.T.S. ISSUED EXPIRES 11/8/17 at 1:45pm.
