Permit suspended for low chlorine in pool. Maintain at 1.0ppm or above. Once corrected, contact Eli Freese at 704.621.2298 to verify and lift permit suspension.

.2535(4) Maintain chlorine at least 1.0 ppm through NSF approved chlorinator. Observed chlorine at 0.2ppm. Permit suspended.

.2535(11) Provide record keeping including daily records of disinfectant residual, pH, drain cover/grate inspections, pool water maintenance, and temperature, if applicable. Observed no main drain safety checks recorded in log for July, 2026.

Inspector comments: Ensure the pool log book records are kept for every day the pool is open. This includes weekends and holidays if the pool is open. All required daily and weekly parameters must be recorded properly.
Main drain covers expire 2/12/2030
Pool has no EQ line covers, built without EQ lines, no plugs in skimmers.
Permit restriction: Pool not approved for salt as primary chlorination.

Inspector comments: OSV to pool for return construction and operating permit inspection. All items from previous site visit corrected.
Emergency phone replaced with temporary phone - hard line. If replaced, ensure correct dialing instructions, address and phone number are posted. Contractor stated that like for like replacement of push button dial to be installed.
Construction final passed. Holds released in system. Permit issued for no night swimming. Local permit posted while onsite. State permit will be posted online by end of business. A unannounced return inspection will occur within 30 to 60 days.
Notes:
1) Facility provided signage only on equipment room building. Some signage does not meet wording requirements. Additional signage added at two other locations. Signage must stay in place to meet rule requirement. All signage shall be visible upon entry to the pool.
2) Heater off at time of inspection.
Pool Width 20 ft.; Rope Length 30 ft.; Max Depth 3 ½ ft.
Hayward HCP 2000 Series, HCP20073 ¾ hp pump with (2) Paramount SDX2 2017 drain covers.
Chris Tarwater, GC, and Ray Brevard, CPO present during the inspection.
